About
EXAMINATIONS
Students are welcomed and encouraged to work towards
exams in Jazz, Tap or Classical Ballet. Exams are not
compulsory, but it gives the children a goal to work
towards and gives a sense of achievement.
PRIVATE LESSONS
These are also available at $18.00 for 45 mins. If
you wish to discuss this, please come and chat with
me.
CONCERT
The Academy will present a concert at the end of the
year, which all students take part in. The dates for
this Concert will be sent home later in the 1st term.
The concert is usually held at the end of the 4th term.
COSTUME POOLE
As mentioned the academy will present an end of year
concert. To costume this and to keep costs down a charge
of $30.00 per student (costume pool fee) will be charged.
The costumes do stay part of the ballet school but students
are welcome to borrow costumes at any time.
As Class times are so very busy and class time is limited,
to make sure your child is getting the best out of his/her
lessons, I ask if parents could please drop off children,
or feel free to have a cup of tea in the kitchen while
waiting for your child, this will ensure that the teacher
will have your child's full attention throughout the
lesson.
CONCERT VIDEOS FOR 2004 - these are still available
for $35.00 - please come and see mee if you would like
to purchase a copy.
As lessons are usually so busy I don't get time to
write receipts at classes so I have two boxes marked
CLASS FEES and the other marked RECEIPTS. If parents
could please place your child's fees in the provided
envelopes with your child's names marked clearly on
the front then I will try to have the receipt ready
for collection from the receipts box the following week.
This will be kept on my table at classes.
SECOND HAND SHOES BOX
Before you buy new shoes and leotards it may be a good
idea to check the second hand boxes as you may pick
up a bargin. Or keep in mind if you wish to sell anything
- feel free to clearly mark the item with your name
and price, as we may be able to sell this for you.
